Distribution Starts at Acceptance
Once your Capsule is canonical - accepted by public vote and finalized on-chain - it becomes eligible for distribution across the Press Network. Distribution is what makes canonical status commercially and reputationally valuable. Rejected or pending Capsules are not distributed. This is the mechanism that makes acceptance meaningful. The Press Network
The Press Network is the interconnected distribution feed that connects all PressHash outlets and partner feeds. When your article is distributed:- It appears in feeds on other PressHash outlets around the world
- It enters topic-specific channels (investigative, local, business, politics, science, etc.)
- It enters regional channels (Northeast US, Western Europe, etc.)
- It enters language channels (English, Spanish, French, etc.)
- It becomes discoverable in the Explorer’s canonical content feed
Distribution Tiers
Your distribution reach depends on your outlet’s track record:
Your tier is calculated automatically from your on-chain record. No applications. No negotiations.
Configuring Your Channels
Portal → Outlet → Distribution → select your active streams:- Press Network (mandatory)
- PressHash network
- Topic channels
- Regional channels
- Language channels
- Affiliate streams (named outlets you partner with)
The Mandatory Press Network Module
Every PressHash outlet must display the Press Network feed widget on their site. This shows recently accepted Capsules from across the network - a non-intrusive sidebar or footer module. Disabling it triggers:- A Brand Separation Fee (automatic PRESS charge)
- A distribution tier downgrade
- A permanent public log entry on-chain
What Improves Your Tier
Checking Your Distribution Status
Portal → Analytics → Distribution shows:- Your current distribution tier
- Active channels
- Capsule-level reach data
